Egyptian football icon and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has won Liverpool’s Goal of the Month title for January, for his goal against Manchester United in the 23rd round of the Premier League. Salah scored the second goal against the Red Devils in the 93rd minute of the match after a remarkable pass from goalkeeper Alison Baker. The goal got the highest number of votes for Liverpool’s Goal of the M onth title, beating Curtis Jones’s goal against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup. A goal from young footballer Layton Stewart against Wolverhampton U-23 came in third place. Salah has scored 66 goal in the league since joining Liverpool in 2017, according to the BBC, and  made history by becoming the first Egyptian player to win the Confederation of African Football’s player of the year award in January 2018 for the second year in a row.
